Group Scanlating: Lililicious
A sad story about princess Sayo and her ninja Ayame. They both made a promise to be together forever when they were young but 10 years later, Sayo is set to be married off to a neighboring country. Ayame cried and Sayo told her that she can't come with her. Ayame refused to leave her side so Sayo had no choice but to act like she didn't care for her. She fired her as her ninja and she hasn't seen her since.
Sayo and her servants was on their way to the neighboring country but they were ambushed by bandits. Ayame appeared and saved her princess and said,
"I'll never leave your side again."
Sayo cried and hugged her. Ayame then said,
"I will protect you my whole life your highness."
Even if this story doesn't have a happy ending, I still love it. It's really sad that they can't be together since Sayo has to fulfill her role as the princess. On Sayo's wedding day, they heard someone crying and the servants thought it was a ghost but Sayo knew that it was Ayame.
