Saki met a Shinigami and told her she's about to die. The Shinigami said the reason why Saki could see her because her death is approaching. She then said,
"I love you. In the darkness of my existence as a shinigami, seeing your smile was the only ray of light"
She offered Saki to become a shinigami like her so they can be together. Too bad they were interrupted when a cat suddenly jumped in and Saki came to her senses and thought she was just dreaming.
