This touhou manga is very good and also one of my favorites. Yukari is a youkai and the enemy of humans. Assassins were always sent to kill her but none succeeded. She hated humans so much and she wants all of them to die. In order to do that, she needs the power of the Youkai tree but the buddhist monks placed a barrier around it. They prepared a human sacrifice, a girl named Yuyuko, who is known as the "Death Princess". Yuyuko is so powerful that no human or weak Youkai could get close to her. Yukari ordered Ran to look for her so she could kill her and and stop the monks from sealing the tree away.
When Yukari met her, they fought but she was defeated. The girl took her to her place and took care of her until she recovered. They both became close and Yukari fell in love with her.
This has a sad ending. Yuyuko sacrificed herself and on their last moment together, Yuyuko said,
"You'll never forget me no matter what. Because I won't forget you even when I die..."
