Group Scanlating: Wings of Yuri
A Fireworks Festival was about to happen that evening and Sakuya and Meiling both wanted to watch it. When Sakuya was leaving, Meiling asked her where she was going. Sakuya said she was going to buy something at the village. Meiling said,
"Sakuya-san, tonight...." She was too late. Sakuya already left so she decided to ask her later.
When Sakuya was at the village, she found out about the festival and she wanted to ask Meiling to watch with her. Meiling, on the other hand, was waiting for her to come back so she could try and ask her again. When Sakuya arrived, Meiling came to her and offered to help her with her luggage but when she saw her in a bad mood, she decided to not to ask and wait again.
Sakuya wasn't really in a bad mood. She was just nervous and couldn't form a word when she sees Meiling and kept practicing to herself,
"Would you like to go together?"
Evening came and Meiling was about to give up thinking, "There will be another chance next year. Let's give up for this year" Sakuya saw her by the tree and she was about to leave so she yelled, "Wait just a minute!" Meiling turned and Sakuya got all nervous. She asked "How's work?"
Meiling ran towards her and said,
"Work? I'm off today but..."
"Tonight..." Sakuya started to say but Meiling interrupted her and said, "Fireworks. Since I have some free time and it's been awhile so I thought I'd go check it out" Meiling was about to ask her to go with her but Sakuya interrupted her and said, "It'll be good as long as you have fun... Lots of it"
Meiling had a sad look on her face and said "Yes, I'll be sure to do that" and she then left. Sakuya, who was saddened to watch her leave, said to herself "I guess there's no helping it".
Meiling came to the festival alone but as soon as the fireworks festival started, she ran back to the mansion and looked for Sakuya. She found her at the veranda, watching the fireworks and she yelled,
"Sakuya-san, would you like to watch the fireworks with me?"
Sakuya smiled at her and said,
"I'd be happy to"
This couple is just crazy but I love them. Their stories were all so sweet and romantic.
