Chapter 01 - Exotic Lollipop
Nagisa doesn't hang out with other students and doesn't care about anyone else around her. Because of her family's circumstances, she wanted to enter the military so she could support them. She used to live an uninteresting life until a transfer student arrived named Umino Mozuku. She is a strange rich girl, who drinks a lot of water and said she was a mermaid.
Nagisa hated it since she was following her home. She was also bothered why Mozuku's legs were wobbling while she walks. Mozuku said in return for coming ashore to live as a human, she has to have imperfect legs. She told Nagisa she needs to find a friend before the big storm or she will disappear. Ignored her and thinks she was a liar and a freak.
Chapter 02 - Heavenly Creatures
As Nagisa was walking to school, Mozuku threw a plastic water bottle at her and it hit in the head (she did that too in chapter one and Mozuko said it was her expression of love). Mozuku joined her as she walked and keep telling stories about the mermaids. When Nagisa went home, she asked why she kept following her and she said she wanted to go with her so she followed her home.
At home, Nagisa fed her pet rabbits and Mozuku said rabbits are their mortal enemies. She told her brother about her and he gave her an even weider explanation (but it also made sense) of why Mozuku act the way she does.
Chapter 03 - Loveless
Nagisa went to buy groceries and she dumped into Mozuku. She was surprised that Mozuku ignored her and followed her father to the car. They were having a fight and her father left her and drove off. Mozuku started crying so Nagisa bought water and threw at her. After she calmed down, they both talked and Nagisa started to understand her a little.
While they were walking home, Mozuku asked about Nagisa's father and she said he already passed away from the big storm that happened 10 years ago. Mozuku said she knew him and that he was living a good life under the sea with the mermaids. Nagisa angry and she told her to shut up. Mozuku just ignored her and kept telling her stories and then she said goodbye. Nagisa couldn't help but think,
"She really is weird"
To be honest, this story keeps getting weirder and weider every chapter. But somehow, I'm interested to know where this story is heading and if Mozuku really is a mermaid. Chapter one was the most interesting chapter and that's how I got hooked to this story. I don't know, I guess I'm weird too.
