Marisa told Alice they were going somewhere together and when Alice came to her house, she wasn't there. Alice fell asleep in waiting and when Marisa arrived, she gave her a book that Alice have been looking for. Alice, who was half awake at that time, hugged her and said,
"Marisa, I love you"
Alice then realized what she did and she immediately pulled away. While they were having tea, Alice asked her where they were going and Marisa said she dumped in with Reimu and she was invited to go to her party. Alice got angry and said,
"You told me we were going out today, only the two of us, didn't you?"
"That's why I thought why not go to a party...." Marisa answered. Alice stood up and said,
"If you want to go to the party so much, why don't you go there on your own"
Marisa said she understood and then she left. Alice didn't mean to say she'd go there alone and she didn't think Marisa would actually go after her outburst. She cried thinking, how her feelings can never reach Marisa and wished for Marisa to notice her. Suddenly, Marisa came back and saw her crying. She asked her what happened and Alice said,
"It's nothing. Weren't you going to Reimu's place?"
Marisa said she went to see Reimu to apologize and refuse her invitation to the party. She said she made a promise to be with Alice and that promise comes first. In the end, they didn't go anywhere. They just sat next to each other and Alice said,
"Today, we're not going anywhere" as she leaned close to her. Marisa smiled and said,
"Well, I guess that's fine too"
This is a classic story of unrequited love and it's always the saddest one. I feel sorry for Alice. She's always been in love with her but Marisa never noticed.
