On her way home, Fate found a black book that says Death Note and she took it home. She read the instructions and said,
"Killing people just by writing their name. What nonsense."
Next day, she learned that Yuuno died of heart attack and she was surprised to see Yuuno's name on the book. She was worried whether she was responsible for his death and a suddenly shinigami appeared. Fate said,
"M..Mother? Mother? What is that?"
And her mother replied,
"I am the shinigami haunting this notebook."
