Resine and Simoun fell in love and soon, people started calling them lesbians. Resine got scared so she forced herself to fall in love with a guy. Simoun and Resine had a fight and she told Simoun she did not want to become like her (she meant a lesbian). Resine left Simoun and months later, she got a letter saying Simoun had died. Resine realized she did love Simoun and vowed to never love anyone again.
As expected, the drawings are old which is kind of hard to get used to. hehehe. I don't like sad stories but this manga showed realistic point of view. It's sad to lose someone you love and not being able to tell them that. I feel sorry for Simoun too. Resine denied her, left her alone and she died not knowing what Resine really feels for her.
