Sadae, is a delinquent type of girl while Hayase is the club culture type. Despite their difference, they are close friends. Hayase is weak and an easy target for bullies but Sadae was always there to protect her. One day, Hayase got a love letter and Sadae encouraged her to go out with him and she distanced herself from her. Hayase confronted her and said,
"Sadae's an idiot!!...It may be that I've confused things, but...the only one I see is Sadae-chan...Sadae-chan's the one that decided to leave.."
