Ai and Kan were going out when they were in junior high. Ai asked her to temporarily be her boyfriend since she was dumped by a guy she liked. Kan told her that their are other guys out there but later regretted saying it. Ai said:
"There may be plenty of stars in the sky, but I'm down here on earth.. so maybe I have to wait for one to fall."
Kan replied,
"Even if the stars never comes down, Don't worry...'cause you have me here on earth with you."
After 6 years, Ai and Kan met again and Ai said Kan was always been her star.
