Yui is an actress who had a painful past. Before she transferred school, she and her best friend kissed and made a promise not to forget each other. However, she haven't heard from her since and all she knew was her best friend fell in love with someone else.
She then met an unusual girl named Tae, who accidentally pushed her to the ocean when she tried to stop Yui from jumping off. She later found out that it was just her misunderstanding and Yui wasn't even thinking of killing herself.
I am beginning to like where this story is heading. The necklace that she lost when she fell into the ocean didn't have that much of a monetary value. It was a necklace given to her by her best friend, whom she was starting to forget because she met Tae. Hiring Tae as her personal assistant to pay for the necklace was just an excuse so she can spend time with her. When Tae took her to the mountains, Yui told her
"I think I've fallen for someone new anyway"
This is the same artist/author who did Clover, which was one of my favorites.
